Gao Zhi Hua, from Gaixian County in Liaoning Province, born in 1949, graduated from the Teachers’ College in Ying Kou, and later studied in the Central Fine Art Academy. He was appointed as the president of the Gaizhou Art Academy in 1985. Now he is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, member of the Water-Color Painters Association in China, a national First-Class painter, the deputy secretary general of the Liaoning Water-Color Association, a painter in the Dalian Painting Academy, vice-chairman and the secretary general of the Dalian Art Association. He enjoys the national outstanding contribution special allowances. He also won “Golden Apple Award”, the highest art award of the Dalian Municipal Government, and the title of “An Artist Excellent in both Ethics and Art”.
