Jin Hong Wei, was born in Jilin City, Jilin Province, in November, 1950. He graduated from Art Dept. in the Northeast Normal University in 1982. He is a member of the China’s Artist Association, a member and editor of the Binding Art Research Division of the Chinese Publishers Association, a guest professor of Liaoning Normal University, executive manager and editor of the Culture and Art Company Ltd. of the CNPIEC Dalian Branch, and head and chief editor of the Dalian Virtual Gallery.

His oil-paintings won an award in the Chinese National Young Artist Exhibition. He published Publications and Endeavors in Fine Art, Selected Works of Jin Hong Wei's Drawings and other works. His biography is included in Chinese Art Dictionary, Art Thesaurus, Comprehensive Dictionary of Chinese Contemporary Fine Artists, Chinese Expert Human Resources Bank, etc.
