Guan Shanyue Born in September 1912 in Yangjiang, Guangdong Province. Graduated from Guangzhou Municipal Normal College in 1933,Entered "Spring Sleep Paintings Academy" in 1935 and studied painting from Gao Jianfu. Former Occupation: Vice-President of China Fine Artists Association, Vice-President of Guangdong Fine Artists Association, and President of Guangdong Paintings Academy. Current Occupation: Consultant of China Fine Artists association, Honorary President of Guangdong Paintings Academy, Permanent Professor at Guangzhou Fine Art Academy, enjoying the Government Special Allowance. Exhibition: Exhibition held in many cities in china and various countries and regions. Exhibition of Paintings on the War of Resistance against Japan held in 1939 in Macao and Hong Kong. Appointed by the State to Europe in charge of Exhibition of paintings in the 100 years of contemporary China in 1958. Prize: Naturally More Beautiful than Spring awarded world famous painting by Du Zhe News of Japan in 1982. Collection: Painted What Beautiful Mountains and Rivers in 1959 with fu Baoshi for the People's Great Hall. Painted A Light Boat Flying through Ten Thousand Mountains in 1994for Zi Guang Ge of the state Council. Later Painted soul of the Yellow River for the Hall of the National People's Political Consultative Conference.
