Yang Feiyun, born in the suburban area of Baotou in Inner Mongolia in 1954, now is a member of Chinese Fine Art Association, lecturer in the Fine Art Dept. in the Central Fine Art Academy, vise-director of the No. 1 Studio in the Oil-Painting Dept.

He studied in the Oil-Painting Dept. in the Central Fine Art Academy from 1978 to 1982. Then he taught in the Stage Art Dept. in the Central Drama Institute in Beijing and later transferred to the Oil-Painting Dept. in the Central Fine Art Academy, where has taught till now.
